A large amount of our eco range consists of items made from recycled materials. Products made from recycled materials help the environment by stopping waste ending up on landfill and instead giving the materials a new life. This also cuts down on products being made from virgin materials that can be harmful to the planet to produce.

Recycled Plastic
We have a wide range of items made from recycled plastic, most commonly rPET which stands for Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate. rPET is most often made from recycled plastic bottles and packaging.
To make rPET, waste PET is firstly collected and sorted by colour. It is then cleaned to remove any labels and extra materials. Then it’s ground to create small flakes or pellets. These can then either be melted to create hard plastic items such as water bottles, or melted and spun to create yarn for clothing and bags.
Recycled Cotton
Cotton is already a great eco friendly material as it comes from a renewable source. However, recycled cotton is even better as new items are made from cotton off-cuts and waste that would have otherwise ended up on the landfill.
The cotton is shredded and then respun to make new yarn. This yarn can then be used to create multiple items such as clothing and bags.
Recycled Paper
Recycled paper is a material we are all very familiar with. Paper is easy to recycle and is great for the planet as it stops excess trees being cut down to make virgin paper.
Recycled kraft paper is even more of a popular choice as it has the natural brown colour of the wood, rather than being bleached like white paper. It is also stronger and more durable than white paper.
