Your role & experience:
My Role is to build relationships with our existing customers and look for new opportunities to show the world what Purple can do and how well we can do it.
I had my own business for over 20 years so I understand the needs and pressures that businesses face. I also have a degree in Psychology and a love of understanding what motivates people and drives them which, I believe, helps me to help others achieve their business goals.
What is your favourite promotional product?
Goodpoint Smoke Alarm Tester – I really like the way that this product both promotes a very specific behaviour change (testing your smoke alarm more often) and practically supports people to do it.
I also love the fact that the testers will be in peoples homes for many years to come. Longevity is the mark of a truly great promotional product.
They also get a fantastic reaction whenever people see you holding them: Curiosity, humour, engagement. We gave them out at the Emergency Services show one year and the reaction was incredible. People were desperate to get their hands on one. – View Product
Outside the office you’ll find me… Reading a book (and enjoying a glass of red!)
Favourite place I’ve been… I’m such a homeboy and I love the South West of England (Somerset levels, Cornish coast, Dartmoor, the list is endless) so my boring but honest answer is here!!
One person I would love to meet… I have so many musical heroes so to choose one would be really hard…but ultimately, I would love to meet Paul McCartney and ask him endless questions about the Beatles and bass guitar playing.
