Welcome to the winter 2021 edition of our newsletter, The Purple Post.

We have a lot to share from this final quarter of the year, including our roundup of COP26, our mask donation to Emergensea, and our featured eco product.

Take a look at the articles below.

COP26: What Can We Do?

As COP26 has now finished,  where do we stand? All businesses need to think of ways we can help and prepare for the goals that have been set out.

In The Promotional Merchandise Industry, What Can We Do?

Small changes can have a big impact. By opting for more sustainable and environmentally friendly merchandise, you’re not only doing your bit for the planet, you’re also promoting that your business is making changes to it’s carbon footprint.

1. Buy products made from sustainable sources

2. Buy items made in the UK

3. Buy recyclable items and encourage the user to recycle after use

If you would like to know more about which items are more sustainable options for your next campaign, don’t hesitate to get in touch with the team.

Emergensea Donation

We have proudly donated printed face masks to the incredible Emergensea Duo who will soon be setting off on the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge and hoping to break the mixed pair record.

The two doctors have a target of raising £100,000 for the frontline medical charities that are close to their hearts.

“In December 2021 Adam and Charlie will depart from San Sebastian in La Gomera, Canary Islands, rowing around 1.5 million strokes, battling 30 ft waves and burning in excess of 5000 calories per day to reach the finish line at English Harbour in Antigua. They will face huge mental and physical challenges whilst competing against 36 international teams with their sights set on breaking the mixed pair record of 43 days, 15 hours and 22 minutes.“

SURFWELL

Surfwell works with Emergency Service providers to improve staff mental well-being, resilience and workplace performance through the proven scientific benefits of surf therapy.

We worked closely with Surfwell on this project, who wanted to produce an eco-friendly pack for participants. We selected a set of sustainable items that matched the brand colours perfectly, including a recycled cotton drawstring bag, resulting in a coherent pack that Surfwell were really pleased with.
